As a former partner at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP, he brings deep expertise in corporate finance, securities law, venture capital, and strategic transactions.
His experience serving on the boards of MassVentures and Social Venture Partners provides invaluable perspective on company development, governance, and scaling growing organizations.
Shirish Nimgaonkar
Shirish Nimgaonkar brings more than two decades of experience in entrepreneurial and leadership roles in the tech sector. He is President of Nanoheal, Managing Partner of Optix Capital, and Managing Partner at SquelchAI.
Holding degrees from IIT Bombay, Stanford, and Harvard Business School, his background in AI automation, company building, and executive leadership provides Effexoft with valuable insight into innovation and market growth.
Dr. Subba Rao Gurram
Dr. Subba Rao Gurram is Vice President of Process Authority Services at Seafood Products Association, Seattle, Washington. He brings specialized expertise in seafood processing, quality compliance, and food safety standards.
He advises Effexoft on strengthening Effecta® to meet the operational, lot tracking, and supply chain needs of seafood and food processing companies worldwide.

William Asher
Bill Asher has served as legal counsel and adviser to growth companies in technology and life sciences businesses for more than 35 years. As a partner at Boston law firm Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP since 2005, and previously at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault LLP, Mr. Asher brings deep experience in corporate finance and securities law, venture capital, M&A and strategic transactions, and corporate governance.
He was one of only 15 lawyers nationwide recognized in 2014 by The Legal 500 as an elite "Leading Lawyer" in Middle-Market M&A and was also listed for Life Sciences. Mr. Asher was named the 2014 Boston "Lawyer of the Year" for both Corporate Compliance Law and Securities Regulation by Best Lawyers. He has been listed for many years in Chambers USA and Massachusetts Super Lawyers.
Mr. Asher presently advises investors and entrepreneurs in early stage growth companies on business development, financing and strategic planning. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of MassVentures, the technology investment and venture development organization of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, since 2014. He is a Member of the Board of Directors at Social Venture Partners, Boston. He also serves on the advisory committee for the Massachusetts Innovation Economy Annual Index published by the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative.

Shirish Nimgaonkar
Shirish has been in entrepreneurial and leadership roles in the technology sector for over 20 years. He is currently the President of Nanoheal, an AI automation software company with several Fortune 1000 companies as customers. Shirish is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Optix Capital, a Venture Capital fund investing in AI and analytics companies and the Managing Partner at SquelchAI, a Natural Language Processing company focused on enhancing customer experience through AI.
In the past, he was part of the senior management teams of 2 VC backed entrepreneurial companies in Silicon Valley with successful exits and was a Managing Director at a global Investment bank.
Shirish has a B. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology -Bombay (ITC management scholar - top 6 students in India), M.S. from Stanford University (1st in class in finance) and M.B.A from Harvard Business School (top 10% of the class). He was ranked among the top deal makers in the US by M&A Advisor.
Shirish is the founder and lead singer of a music band (Kashish) focused on social good. He has performed several times across the US and India and was the winner of the Indian American Idol contest in the Northeast US. Shirish is a nationally ranked competitive sailor in the Laser and Optimist classes of boats. He is on the council of Governors of the American Indian Foundation (Boston Chapter) and on the board of TiE Boston.
